Plans & account access

A plan for the work.
Clarity before commitment.

One account across the product family. Plans define credits and access, not permission to control your devices or a guarantee that every client has shipped.

Checkout is not live

These are catalogue prices, not an offer to charge your card today. Creating an account or selecting a plan does not activate a paid subscription. Credit purchases stay off until checkout is enabled.

01 / Account

Your identity

Sign in across supported clients. A download is not a purchase.

02 / Plan

Your access & credits

A plan grants credits for a period. A pack adds headroom when payments are live.

03 / Permissions

Your boundaries

Local tools, connected apps, and sensitive actions have separate requirements.

The catalogue’s Free tier is not unlimited access. Daily allowance can pause new work even when monthly credits remain. Plan features below are catalogue entitlements; preview and release limits still apply.

“Not yet” is on the roadmap for that plan and is not available today. Nothing on this page is a message count: credits meter work, not turns. · Carry Continuum meters the same ask — Partial where labelled.

What uses credits

Credits measure work, not messages. These existing measured examples are not a fixed rate card or a promised cost for your task.

  • A plain chat reply0.15 – 0.840.15 when the thinking happens on your own device, 0.84 when an outside service does it
  • A question about a file on your device1 – 4reading the file is metered by the second; composing the answer is metered separately
  • Creating a DOCX document≈ 2includes the check that the written content is what was asked
  • A command run on a cloud computer≈ 3 + computer timethe cloud computer's running time is metered separately, by the second
  • A browser task10 – 60browser time is metered at 4 seconds per credit; longer pages and sign-ins cost more
  • A multi-source research task30 – 50several pages fetched and read, with a required number of sources

Measured on the real product on 2026-09-23; your numbers depend on how each step is done and how long it takes. A credit is a unit of work, not a currency.

How work becomes credits
Thinking done by an outside service
what that service reported the step cost, converted to credits
Thinking done on your own device
an internal hardware rate — 1,000 tokens per credit — so on-device work is metered, not free
Tool time (files, commands)
10 seconds per credit
Browser and desktop time
4 seconds per credit
Cloud computer and GPU time
by the second, from the size of the machine (processors, memory, graphics card)
Storage and network
10 MB written or 20 MB transferred per credit
Minimum per task
1 credit

A limit is a pause. Not a result.

Plan allowances and runtime safety limits are distinct. Work that hits a limit is not called complete. Review which limit applies before starting more work.

  • One task2,000the task pauses and says the task limit was reached; you can raise its ceiling and continue
  • One day, on a device20,000new steps on that device wait until the next day, or until the limit is raised
  • One run of a scheduled check500that run stops; the next scheduled run goes ahead as normal
  • One scheduled check, all runs5,000the check stops running until you raise its limit
  • One calendar month (runtime guard)20,000this is a runaway-protection ceiling, not your plan grant; work stops unless your account allows going over, and work in progress is paused, never called done

The rows above are the runtime’s default guards (runaway protection), not your plan’s monthly grant or Free’s daily allowance. Your plan grant is on the plan cards. Free also has a daily allowance separate from the monthly grant; when that daily allowance is used, new work waits even if monthly credits remain. Nothing is unlimited.

More headroom, when needed

Credit packs are listed for comparison. Buying is disabled while checkout is not live.

  • Starter1,000 credits · ₹999
  • Growth5,000 credits · ₹3,499
  • Scale20,000 credits · ₹12,999

Packs are listed so you can see the catalogue. Buying waits until payments are switched on — nothing is charged today, and there is no checkout button on this page.

Before you decide

A few useful distinctions.

Does creating an account buy a subscription?

No. Account creation establishes your Phronen identity. Paid access is a separate step when checkout is available. A catalogue listing is not an active subscription.

Why does the catalogue include Free?

Free is the existing catalogue’s starting tier, with a monthly grant and a separate daily allowance. It is not a promise of unlimited use, permanent free access, or a released native app. Check your account for actual access and limits.

Is the Mac app included in a plan?

Plans describe account access, not installer availability. The intended customer Mac experience is a self-contained DMG followed by account sign-in. That production installation is still in development, and device permissions are always separate.

Do I need to bring a provider key?

No. The customer path is a Phronen account and plan credits through the hosted gateway, not a provider key or a manual Python or pip setup.

Do all interfaces have the same capabilities?

No. Web, desktop, terminal, and planned mobile clients share account foundations, but tool availability depends on the surface, environment, permissions, and release. Cross-client continuity remains partial.
