| goal | The outcome, in plain words. Required. |
| title | Optional short name; derived from the goal if omitted. |
| project | Optional project name to file the task under. |
| environment | local · ci · staging · production · desktop. Production is limited to owners and admins by default. |
| device_id | Pin the work to one trusted device. Otherwise PHRONEN picks the device that has what the task needs. |
| parent_id | Make this a follow-up of an earlier task. |
| verify | true by default. false records the work without an independent check and never reports it as verified. |
| max_repairs | How many times PHRONEN may repair and re-check before stopping. Default 3. |

| queued | accepted, waiting for a device |
| running | in progress |
| awaiting_approval | the control plane paused; the web continues unless this is a payment |
| paused | paused by you |
| completed | finished and confirmed by the independent check — the only way a task is called done |
| failed | stopped short; reason says why, in plain words |
| cancelled | stopped by you |
