PHRONEN in Zed
Zed is the editor. PHRONEN works inside it with the same permissions, approvals and evidence.
Install the terminal command, then register PHRONEN in Zed’s settings (Zed calls this an “agent server”; the snippet below does it). Each prompt becomes one task with the same permissions, approvals and evidence as everywhere else.
phr acp --print-zed-config # prints the snippet below for this machinesettings.jsonjson
{
"agent_servers": {
"PHRONEN": {
"type": "custom",
"command": "phr",
"args": ["acp"],
"env": {}
}
}
}Today’s limits
- Edits are reviewed through Zed’s own diff and git views; inline diff blocks are not yet emitted.
- Image and audio prompts are not yet accepted from Zed (they are from the terminal).
- Sessions are not restored by Zed; tasks persist in PHRONEN and continue with phr continue.
